Wexworlds 2009 comes to an End

The first ever Wexworlds Sci Fi and Fantasy Fiction Festival came to a sad close yesterday but not without a raucous applause and call for Wexworlds to continue for 2010.  Congratulations to all who participated and thanks to all who made it such a success.  Curator James Bacon put together a great programme and Eoin Colfer was the host with the most participating in many of the events and panels despite returning from gruelling PR tour for ‘And Another Thing’.  All the role playing events for the kids were great success and especially Dr. Emma King blowing things up in microwaves or breaking things with nitrogen.  The adults old and young also got some entertainment and interesting discussions from Sci Fi Caca Milis Cabaret and panel discussions and workshops.  Check out the great pictures Arek and Philip of cold24productions on our Wexworlds facebook page.  Also video coverage will be posted soon on youtube courtesy of Paul Sills who covered majority of events over the weekend. Until next year - keep dates Nov 26th-28th 2010 Free
