John Vaughan

When John Vaughan was four years old , his mother took him to see Pinocchio at the Local Cinema and at that moment he knew what he wanted to do the rest of his life.

Since then John has gone on to become (much to his own surprise) an award winning short film maker and writer, with his last film "My Dad" made in association with RTE winning the prestigous best picture award at last years Action on Film Festival in Pasedena California.

When not furiously working on his first feature film screenplay (which is surprisingly often) he is currently helping to organise the first ever Irish Short Science Fiction Film award "The Blasters" which will be held in October. For further information visit: http://vimeo.com/3102994
